Prayer Changes Things

No matter what trials you are facing in life or what struggles you may go through, prayer is the answer.  At Berean Baptist Church we believe the answers to everything we need can be found through prayer.  We want to be a church that always places a strong emphasis on prayer.  To help us accomplish this, we have established the Pastor's Prayer Partners ministry.

The Pastor’s Prayer Partners are a group of dedicated men who gather together on Monday nights at 7 o’clock to assist the Pastor and staff in praying for requests submitted by the members of the church.  Prayer requests are called into the office each Monday by noon.  From these calls, a list is made and handed out at the weekly meeting.  These requests are also available at the Welcome Station for others who can pray at other times.

The men meet in the Lee Roberson Chapel to briefly discuss each prayer request on the list.  Other names or requests may be added at this time.  The men then divide into groups of two or three, find a place in the chapel or the auditorium, and pray until each name or prayer request is brought before the Lord.

The Pastor’s Prayer Partners believe very strongly that God is a prayer-hearing God and that He does answer prayer.  Prayer is an essential part of a Christian’s life.  If you would like to be part of this ministry, please contact Dr. Jimmy Hudson.
