God created each of us individually with a unique identity and specific purpose. At Berean Baptist Church, we want everyone to feel as if they belong. Those in our community who are single are no exception. We want to provide an avenue for singles to reach their greatest potential as Christians. We want to provide a place of fellowship and service for each person to be involved in the work of the Lord. We want you to BELONG to the Single L.I.F.E. Adult Ministry. Join us every Sunday at 9:45 AM for a Bible lesson and a warm breakfast!
Too many people in this world are wandering aimlessly through life. There is no direction, no goal, or no purpose. The sad thing is that they come to the end of their life and feel as if they have accomplished nothing. At Berean Baptist Church, we want everyone’s LIFE to have purpose.
Learn
II Timothy 2:15, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God…" Weekly Bible Studies will help each member learn more about God and His Word. The studies are usually in a series format and relevant to real life.
Influence
Romans 14:7, "For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself." It is important not only to be a good influence to others, but also to be influenced by others for the better.
Fellowship
1 John 1:7, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another…" Proper fellowship is very important to have a balanced life. Weekly breakfasts, monthly activities, periodic retreats, and other social events will help provide much needed fellowship.
Encourage
Proverbs 27:17, "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." Someone once said, “Be good to everyone because everyone’s having a tough time.” There is no better support group than a group of people who love the Lord and encourage each other no matter what life throws their way.
